Very nice site. I’m proud that my great-grandfather made it onto here next to so many other gedolim. I must comment that, while I’ve seen our name spelled in Hebrew as it is on this stone, I’ve never seen the English quite like this other than here. I have it in his own handwriting actually as “Gelerinter”, so I’m thinking the kehilla mixed it up a bit. I still hope to one day learn more of him, but unfortunately, I’m finding that most, if not all, of his personal papers have been destroyed throughout the years. If anyone reading this knows anything about him, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thanks!
