Rabbi Baruch Yaakov Alter was not a Rav in Chicago, IL, he was a Talmid of Yeshivas Mir Poland.
I see his father perished in WWII HY”D and was the son of RAM Alter, what is the exact lineage to the Chidushi Huri”m?

My father was a grandson of Reb Shimale (Shimon Chaim) brother of Sfas Emes.
