The were twoi Hungarian Rabbis named Reb Divid Dietch (as mentioned on this Matzieve being ione of his ansectors), one was Reb The Author of Ohel Dovid a desciple of the Noda Beyuhad, the other one was the author of Goren Dovid.
Any idea which one this Rav was a descendant from?
The Goren Dovid was named Aharon Dovid. Interestingly his father was Avrohom Aharon. So the story in the family is that both were sick and had the name Aharon added to their original name. But I would think that any einekle would use the full name of the father.
