Shimon Lamm was actually the great grandson of Hasar Sholom. He was the son of Yosef Yoske Lamm and Miriam Rokeach, daughter of Elazar Rokeach, the eldest son of Hasar Sholom.
He lived on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, and was one of the founders of the Shinever Chevra Anshei Sefard. He was also the great grandson of (and named for) Shimon M’Yaraslav Marilis. He was my great grandfather. To my regret, I don’t have any details about his brother Yissachar Dov, who is buried near him at Union Field.

He was my Great Grandfather. Founded Shinever Kloiz on the E.S. but never considered himself mara d’asra. He was was a mohel mumcha and had hor’ah from his uncle the Divrei Yechezkal of Shinov. Was close to his cousin R. Moshe of Shinov as well. His father was R. Yosef Yoske Lamm son-in-law of R. Elazar Rokeach, son of the Sar Shalom. R. Yosef Yoske’s father, R. Yeoshua Lamm was the son-in-law of R. Shimon of Yarislov for whom R. Shimon Lamm was named. R. Shimon Lamm’s father-in-law was R. Yosef Chaim Glantz, son of R. Hersh Glantz, son-in-law of the Aryeh Debei Ilayi, son-in-law of the Yismach Moshe. He came to the U.S. in 1905, his wife and seven children came some time later. 3 married children remained in Europe. Adler family of Yerushalayim and L.A. descend from his older brother R. Avraham Alter Lamm A.B.D. Zolkev, author of Ashel Avraham. He did have a brother Yissachar Dov who is also buried in Union Field. Any additional info. appreciated.
