Does he have any descendants?
It sounds like he didn’t have any sons, but he had 4 daughters; Buchman, Schniederman, Kaplan and Baumrind, there should be descendants alive.
Baumrindis also buried at Mount Judah.
This person is buried one row behind the Rebbe, very hard to read, seems to have been a Rav or gave shiurim;

A few rows behind is Rav Seidman. I couldn’t find it listed here, if so, please remove this post.

Greetings,
I am related to the Rabbi’s first wife, Chana Schlager, who died in 1914, and who was the mother of his four daughters. She was the half- or three-quarter-sister of my grandmother, Rebecca Schlager Nelson Thorner.
Only recently did I bring my attention to this corner of my mother’s mother’s family, while working on an overview webpage:
http://www.btstack.com/Nelson%20Family%20Matrix.html
I consulted the prior research of my cousin Joseph Chandler of Portland, Maine.
http://www.btstack.com/Joe%20Chandler%20Family%20History%20Dearest%20Rachel.html
Joe wrote: “One of Rochel’s daughters, Chana (Anna), was married to the Rabbi Moshe Rokeach and they have an extensive family in the New York area.”
You can download my research on Chana Schlager & Moses Rokeach and their 4 daughters here:

I would love to learn more about this part of my family and would appreciate any introductions.

About my grandfather mother conections
I’m researching this family. He had a brother Baruch Salomon Rokeach b. 1880 who went to Buenos Aires, Argentina. They also have the same story re descent from R Elazar Rocheach of Amsterdam. I’m told that their father Salomon was also a rabbi in Kiev (born 1855) I can’t get any further! I would love more information! PS. we have this Rokeach Y-DNA and it is a match for two other very famous rabbinical lines. I’d love to also test an offspring of the Rokeach of Belz to confirm a match to Amsterdam!
Can someone please translate his tombstone? I just want to know if there is any information that can provide clues to his backgrouns. I only know his father was Rabbi Salomon of Horokhov/Gorokhov, Volyn, Ukraine) and mother Pessel.
