the rabbi basically sat and learned all day.was from rosoveh maybe a hamlet of minsk.learned by and was a ben bayis of r alta shmuelevitz in stuchin.apparently he learned in slabodka too.was friends with r yaakov kanterovits,r shlomo heiman and r moishe feinstein.his father was also a talmud chacham and was known as the masmid in rosevah.he would finish the shas every year was niftar 1918.rabbi dovid koolyk had a son that was a rav in newton mass .passed away around 1995
