    The Rav may have had a son who was a chaplain in the US Army.

    The Rav was the Magid (Preacher) in a Shtetl call Skolko, he wrote a Sefer Chemdas Chaim while still in Europe:

    Hi family name is written in Yiddish “Mietkes”, don’t know if this is just a pernounceation or that he changed name when imigrating to the US.

    What Kehila was “Talmud Torah Toras Chaim” and where was it located?

    I also find that he wrote a Sefer Zichron Olem which is not available on Hebrew Books
