His Rebbe was his uncle was Rabbi Menachem Mendel Chaim Landau author of Mekeitz N’irdamim. See Shredai Aish and the terms he describes Rabbi M.M. Landau. Rabbi R Landau was the father in law of Samuel Fuerstein of Boston.
