Uri Felshyn was brother of David Felshyn, my grandfathers grandfather. They were lost and separeted all there life because of borders that were between Soviet Russia and rest of the world. Rav Uri was also the Treasurer of Kollel Chaba”d of EY in NY, and was intimateley involved in the Lubavitch organizations, he lived in NYC on 1341 5th Ave.
In 1974 a book was printed in memory of Rav Felshin named “Sefer zikaron le-rav Uri Felshin” the rav was ordained in Jeruslem by Rav Schmuel Salant, and was an active Mohel here in the NYC.
Rav Uri had a son Rabbi Mordechai Moshe Felshin who was the rav of the Radin City Synagauge in NYC on 110 west 48th st.

I also have his certificate issued in march 1919, for the address 1341 5th ave.
Uri’s memoir tells his story from his birth 1874 in Russia to his arrival in Jaffo at age 7, from whence his parents, he and his older sister traveled to Hebron where his father died after one year and where Uri grew up & studied until he went to study in Jerusalem where he married my grandmother. He wa 16 and she; 15. There he was ordained and from there he went to serve in Zichron Yaacov and Metulah as Rabbi, Shoichet and Moehl, later immigrating to the USA. He and Sarah had 8 children; one born in New York City. He died one year before Israel became a state.
