Does the Rebbe have any children?
his sefer Tiferes Shmiel could be seen on hebrewbooks.org
http://hebrewbooks.org/pdfpager.aspx?req=6567&pgnum=1
He was a brother-in-law with Reb Menachem Nuchem Yosef Twersky of Loyev-Myropil [listed on this site].
Yacov,
If I read correctly in his Sefer, his originakl surname was actually “Marbinu”, did he change name to Kaufman?
Is there any children left from the Rebbe?
the had a few childern and they burried nearby the rebbe
Where is Rebbe Arele of Totiv buried?
Interestingly he was a Kaminker descendant but was called Miropoler Rebbe, which was from the Twersky side.
Who was Rebbe Arele of Totiv?
בן ר’ צבי בנו יחידו של הבעש”ט.
Reb Arele of Tetiev is buried in Pavolotch Ukraine [near Skvira].

It goes the other way around. Miropol is from the Kaminke side. The comment should be on the Lieve-Miropol Rebbe (R’ Menachem Nuchem Yosef Twersky, which was a SIL in Kaminke) why he called himself by the name Miropol.
was he a Tziyoni like his brother-in-law?
The Rebel’s granddaughter, Frances Kaufman was married to Rabbi Baruch Rabinowitz (of Hillel Kook “Peter Bergson” fame).
another granddaughter is Amy Goodman, the host and executive producer of Democracy Now.
any information who was his father in law?
Father in Law (I Believe) Baruch (of Shepitovka) Lieberson?
Mother in Law Raizel dauhter or slavita Rav
which Slaviter Rav was the father of Raizel?
I am one of the great grandchildren of R’ Shmuel Kaufman, the Mirapoleh Rebbe z”l; Mirapole being where he lived.
Looking at the family tree, his father was R’ Avraham David z”l (also my father’s Hebrew name)Mirabenu of Mirapole; his Mother was Freyda z”l. They were descendents of the Kaminka mishpacha.
R’Shmuel Kaufman was married to Rivkah Leah Lieberson z”l, who lived to 101. She was always surrounded by family, the head of the Rebetzen Society, and from whom Rabbis sought knowledge.
She was the daughter of R’Boruch of Shepitovka and her mother, Reizel was the daughter of the Slavita Rav.
Baba as we called her, was also a grandchild of the Baal Shem Tov and related to the Twersky family.
Their eldest daughter Malka(1 of 5 daughters including my grandmother, Chana/Chanka) was married to R’Mordecai Twersky of Malin, who was murdered along with his father, R’ Avraham Yehoshua Heschel Twersky in 1919 leaving 2 children, Rose and David.
My brothers and I grew up with their children.
There was also a son, Morris, a pharmacist rather than a Rabbi.
They were a very close family.
I hope I cleared up some uncertainties.
In the zechut of my zaydes, may you all be blessed with many revealed blessings
R’Shmuel Kaufman was married to Rivkah Leah Lieberson, and not the daughter of Rebbe Baruch Bentzion, Loyev Chernobyler Rebbe?
I am the great grandaughter of R’Shmuel Kaufman. My grandmother was Molly (Malka) Spiegel, mother of Israel Bernard Spiegel. While there is a wealth of information on my grandmother’s family I am trying to find information on Molly’s second husband Rabbi Ephriam Spiegel. He had two brothers Daniel (D’Neal) and Nathan (Nachum). They lived on Creston Avenue in the Bronx. If you have information, please reach out. Thank you.
I have been doing some research on my husband’s side and I found the article about Rebbe Shmuel Kaufman. My husband’s mother’s grandmother was a Kaufman and it was always said that they are descendants of the Baal Shem Tov. They didn’t know how at the time because it was never written. I am noticing familiar names and am trying to get my tree correct.
I also saw a detailed Kaufman family list of descendants online dating back to 1770 starting with Michal Kaufman. I don’t see the branch that we would be on this as my husband’s Great Grandfather was Yitzchok Nachman Kaufman. (Quite unusual as Nachman is not used much in that family tree). Yitzchok Nachman was born November 8 1856 in Krakow as far as I can gather. He was married to Charna Yentel Etel Brandstein.
I would be extremely elated if you can help me with this.
I am thinking this man is brother to Yitzchak Nachman Kaufman. Can anyone verify this?

I’m the grandson of Sima Chisi the daughter of Chanah with Tzvi your grandmother daughter of Rabbi Samuel.
Would love to discuss the tree in further detail and hope you could help me clarify.
Thank you
