Bio Information:
Rabbi Yosef Zundel Weingarten who arrived here from Austria was the proprietor of the S. Weingarten Hand Matzoh Co. located at 74 Ridge Street and later relocated  34 Norfolk Street on the Lower East Side. Rabbi Weingarten a Sadigerer Chossid attracted the business of many Chassidim living in New York City at the time. After his passing, the bakery was managed by his wife Sarah.
