Bio Information:
Rav Weiss, the former Cheif Rabbi of Lower Austria was also the menahel (principal) of Yeshiva Rabbeinu Yaakov Yosef (RJJ) for many years. In addition, he rabbinated at Congregation Mogen Avroham Anshe Dukler, both on the Lower East Side.

Who was his FIL mentioned as Reb Dovid Hakeohen?
He was a delegate to the Austrian Parliament as mentioned on the marker, seems like an influential person, are there more details about him?

In Austria he was known as rabbi Dr. Heinrich Weiss he arrived to the US in 1939 after fleeing Austria from the Nazi occupation.

Marvin Schick the current President of RJJ is alive and well in Boro Park and I am sure he has additional information on this great man.
Rav Weiss’ remaining child, Frieda Weiss Wells, passed on November 3, 2021 in Ft Lee NJ. This leaves Rav Weiss’ descendants his grandchildren, from Frieda Wells: Beth Wells (NYC), Alan Wells (Pittsburgh), and Julian Wells (Randolph, NJ), and from David Weiss: Hillel Weiss (Israel), Joshua Weiss (Israel), and Jeremy Weiss (Israel); and their families.
