Rabbi Rosen’s grandson, David Rosen, passed away about 15 years ago in New Haven. He was married to my grandfather’s older sister. Both my grandfather and his older sister are in their mid-90s now, may they be well…
Perhaps David Rosen was named after Rabbi Rosen’s father?
He was first (from 1891) chief rabbi of Rochester NY

Rav Rosen was my great-grandfather. I was searching for him on Google and found this page. He was my mother’s mother’s father.
My father, born in 1917, had the same name as the Rav, Avraham Abba Rosen. I am trying to find out if the Rav was his great uncle, and he was named for him. Does anyone know about the names of the Rav’s siblings and wife, or anything else that could help me?
Rev Rosen was my ex-husband’s great-grandfather. The only information I have about his wife is her name was Goldie Karnovsky. I am also trying to find other information ancestery wise so if you have anything to share I would share what I have. Thank you.

Rabbi Rosen married my paternal Grandparents, Ida and Philip Fleischner on December 27, 1908
Rabbi Rosen married my maternal grandparents, Philip Silverman and Bessie Barkin in New Haven, CT in 1911.
Rabbi Rosen is my great, great grandfather on my father’s side. I’ve heard stories that upon his death, 20,000 people, Jews and non-Jews marched behind the horse-drawn casket as it was paraded through the streets.
